Scanning, photo editing and html coding by Christine MacAlpine and Dan Lineberger.More than you wanted to know: Original photos were taken with a Nikon FM2 using a 55mm Micro-Nikkor macro lens. Bottom lighting was from a fluorescent-lighted slide viewing box overlaid by a transparent blue acetate sheet. Side/top lighting was from standard tungsten photo flood lamps. The film was Ektachrome HC 100 ASA and the tungsten flood lights were corrected using a Tiffen 80A spectrum-correcting filter. Slides were scanned at 800 dpi in millions of colors in a Microtek ScanMaker 35T plus slide scanner using the Microtek ScanWizard PPC import plug-in (ver. 3.23) for Adobe PhotoShop 5.5.
